Friedrich Dabbert bought a small beer shop in Laucha an der Unstrut and sold beer from various breweries as well as mineral water and soft drinks from his own production.

modern production and storage facilities were built in a new building, which now enabled beer to be bottled. The new ice room meant that customers could also be supplied with ice in the summer months.

his son Karl Wilhelm Dabbert took over the business and continued to run it successfully through the difficult twenties until 1945. He continuously brought the bottle washing and bottling systems up to the latest state of the art.

Karl Friedrich Dabbert took over the management of the company. Despite the many government hurdles, the business was able to continue as a private company until it was nationalised in 1961. The Artern brewery continued to use the business as a branch under the management of Karl Friedrich Dabbert until 1978.

Christian Dabbert and two co-partners acquired the company from the privatisation authorities. The company was expanded under the name ‘Glockengold Fruchtsaft GmbH’ to become an efficient fruit juice production company.

Chris Dabbert founded ‘Glockengold Fruchtsaft AG’ and took over the business on 1 August 2009.

This means that the Dabbert name is now associated with beverage production in Laucha for the 5th generation.
